We seek a Team Lead MIT to supervise data center operations, overseeing vendor staff, in a 24/7/365 operations environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist Senior Manager IT in overseeing Montefiore Data Centers and leading vendor staff.
- Hardware deployment of all cabinets, server installations and decommissions for the Yonkers, NY, Orangeburg, NY and Moses (Bronx) data centers.
- HW rack and stack, cabling, patch panels, rPDU power connection, troubleshooting and incident remediation.
- Data center asset tracking and inventory validation, capacity planning and installation designs based on work orders and project requirements.
- Provide input to the cabinet capacity report (CCR) and excellent communication coupled with service efficiency for continuous customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with vendor and Montefiore departments for testing.
- Schedule downtime.
- Site surveys.
Requirements include:
- 3+ years working in a 24/7/365 enterprise data center.
- Hardware deployment, rack & stack, troubleshooting.
- Equipment tracking, asset management, and inventory control.
- Reliable transportation to travel among Montefiore sites.
Desired:
- Experience working with Azure or AWS.
