The AD/Sr. Manager, Patient Analytics will translate complex data into actionable insights, supporting Madrigal Patient Services in strategic decision making and operational adjustments. Responsibilities include ownership of patient services dashboards, analysis, and patient journey tools, including wireframing, development, and ongoing management. This role will be instrumental in executing the patient analytics vision. The position will also coordinate with Patient Services, Channel Analytics, and other key functions to ensure consistent reporting and metrics across the organization—reports to the Director of Analytics.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth patient analysis to identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and HCP/patient behaviors.
- Be the key point of contact for Madrigal Patient Services to develop key metrics for continuous monitoring and quarterly business reviews.
- Develop patient dashboards, including wireframing, business rules development, and ongoing QA/QC through hands-on efforts (e.g., Tableau dev.) and/or vendor mgmt. (e.g., ZS dev. team)
- Serve as the main point of contact and SME for Madrigal's patient journey tool, supporting patient services and field sales.
- Support MPS in identifying and defining CRM/reporting enhancements to ensure appropriate patient therapy.
- Partner with the Director of Data Warehousing and Reporting, and external vendors to develop reporting tables for the BI platform.
- Provide internal analytics team and key cross-functional partners (trade, payer, consumer marketing, etc.) with key learnings / context from patient analytics development.
- Support the Director of Analytics in developing Madrigal’s long-term analytics vision, including NLP, ML, and AI capabilities.
- Support the Directory of Analytics by leading Madrigal Patient Services advanced analytics projects which are associated with Madrigal’s overall analytics vision and roadmap.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses supporting patient services.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization processes, market access, and regulatory considerations.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data to drive strategic decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work with complex, diverse data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners including Patient Services, Sales Planning, Marketing, Trade, Market Access, Medical and Legal.
- Able to drive multiple workstreams simultaneously and prioritize efforts to achieve objectives.
- Possesses a natural curiosity and the ability to challenge the status quo.
- Can operate and thrive in a high-paced and lean environment.

- This is a hybrid role based in either Conshohocken, PA or Waltham, MA.
Compensation:
Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits, which include flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
