In this role, you will provide overall leadership for the design and execution of market research and pricing strategies in support of Vizient's growth goals. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will serve as a key member of the leadership team within the Office of Strategy Management.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative market research studies.
- Analyze market data to identify opportunities, trends, and threats.
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations to inform business strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, account management, product development, Member Networks and other client-facing teams to integrate customer feedback into business decisions.
- Develop and implement innovative pricing strategies that enhance market share and profitability.
- Serve as an internal thought leader on market trends, competitive landscape, and pricing models.
- Partner with sales, marketing, product development, and finance teams to ensure alignment on market research and pricing strategies.
- Partner with Corporate Communications to help guide the organization’s thought leadership strategy including authoring/co-authoring publications and facilitating expert-led sessions with key industry partners and clients.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors; actively manage engagements to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of market research and pricing professionals.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in market analytics and research-related functions, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- 5+ years of experience building and leading teams.
- Experience preparing and presenting as SME to Executive audiences.
- Mastery of office applications, specifically PowerPoint and Word (narrative/memo development).
- Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders, verbally and nonverbally.
- Ability to retain information and instructions, including the ability to apply the information and instructions to new tasks that may be assigned.
Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $187,800.00 to $328,600.00. This position is also incentive eligible.
