Title: RMC Telematics Support Analyst
Location: Remote, work from home
Duration: 3 months + contract engagement
Compensation: $45 to $60 hourly
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Summary:
Under the general guidance of the IT Manager, this position will provide a high level of functional and business process expertise in the research, development and support of key technology areas within my client’s businesses surrounding the Ready Mixed Concrete fleet. This position will focus primarily on the needs of the NAM RMC fleet and all aspects of the technology used to maximize and enhance daily productivity.
Principal responsibilities/function of the position:
- Provides technical, functional and process support for assigned applications and business lines focusing on the Ready-Mix Concrete product line.
- Troubleshoots, supports and maintains software applications and supporting infrastructure.
- Installs and configures applications to meet business requirements and processes.
- Acts as a liaison with vendors and consultants to address support activities.
- Develops documentation and communication to improve the use and availability of applications.
- Provides expert level support and maintenance of core software functionality and technology components.
- Maintains a shareable library of system documentation and practices.
- Supports Mobile Tablet devices for RMC Mixer hardware and Load Assurance Probes/Display.
Specialized knowledge required for this position:
- A high level of expertise in the core business applications and technologies supported by the NAM Material Operations Systems group.
- Expert knowledge in critical business systems used to support the operational needs closely related to the Ready-Mix fleet; this would include TrackIt.
- Detailed knowledge of business organization, processes and procedures in my clients Ready Mix Concrete operations.
- Proven ability to mentor people and delivers results, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, testing and quality assurance techniques.
- Proficient in development of documentation to support functional specifications, data flows, etc.
- Keen interest in new technologies and have the vision to identify opportunities for improving business processes.
- Knowledge of all Command Alkon RMC products a plus.
- Proficient use of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
