Job Description
Develops and executes the Sales plans for both Bishop's Lodge and Goldener Hirsch, and is responsible for directing, coordinating, training, and supervising staff in all Sales, Revenue Management, Reservations, and related activities to maximize revenue and profits and to improve the hotel's performance in the marketplace. A champion of the brand and our values, this role is impactful in achieving our desired financial results and outcomes.
- Responsible for the Leadership, development, and implementation of short- and long-term strategies designed to positively impact all revenue streams. Achieve/exceed hotel revenue goals; increase market share performance.
- Direct the solicitation efforts of the sales staff through effective oral and written communication while overseeing rate, date, and space commitments for group room sales within the hotel.
- Compile and/or direct the preparation of reports about the operation of the Sales Department to include, but not limited to the annual and monthly forecast, marketing budget, lead management system, group booking pace report, star reports, and sales meeting minutes.
- Prepare, implement, and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reports, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts, and other reports as directed/required.
- Identify, recruit, develop, and retain best-in-class Sales professionals; while maintaining a person in the pocket for all key positions managed.
- Maintain and champion the Auberge Resorts Collection culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) Years of Hotel Sales, Catering or Marketing Experience.
- Management Experience: 5 Minimum Years of Leadership Experience in a Full-Service Hotel: 4-star plus.
- Highly professional presentation and communication (oral and written) skills, with the ability to address executive-level constituents.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform critical analysis.
- Must be able to manage people, including giving directions and delegating responsibilities, and be a culture ambassador.
- Ideal candidate would base in Santa Fe, NM. Relocation and Housing Allowance included in overall compensation package.
