Job Description
To identify and grow Omni's key travel agent, consortia, luxury wholesale and entertainment accounts and revenue for a collection of Omni Resorts. Support and collaborate with operations teams on the execution and delivery of the on-property guest experience. This position will have a primary focus on the West Region overseeing 3-4 Omni Resorts. Remote candidates will be considered based in the West Region.
Responsibilities
- Concentrate efforts on strategy and overseeing all aspects of the sales effort for the identified travel agent, Consortia, luxury wholesale and entertainment accounts.
- Conduct sales calls and site inspections as required.
- Develop new markets and sources of business.
- Maintain and develop new relationships with travel buyers.
- Analyze market information by using sales systems and implement strategy to achieve each resort's financial room/catering goals.
- Update all Consortia portals with content, offers and images with the assistance of each resort's marketing teams.
- Attend key tradeshows/sales trips/industry events.
- Create and execute travel advisor sales training and sales missions.
- Generate ideas for marketing of products such as packages and promotional offers.
- Maintain effective communication with Revenue Team, Reservations Manager, Reservations Team, and Select Guest Team.
- Follow up with client inquiries, special needs, and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Participate in sales meetings and revenue meetings and other hotel meetings as appropriate.
- Regularly update properties on competitors and market intelligence.
- Ongoing collaboration with Global Director, Leisure & Luxury as well as Sr Director, Global TMC and Consortia on account strategies and activities (shows, missions, FAMs, etc.).
- In-person or virtual presentations will be included in the log of calls activity.
- Hosting of up to two fam trips per property, per year, based on the needs/requests of the property.
- Review online content on pertinent channels to ensure property information and imagery is on-brand and current. Also, share resort guide and special events listing on a quarterly basis.
- Work closely with OSC regarding corporate marketing initiatives, tradeshow calendar, as appropriate.
- Connect with each property's operations team on service activations and guest recognition related to program inclusions and provide training to ensure teams are meeting program requirements. Partner with Loyalty Ambassadors on pre-arrival opportunities for greater personalization during the stay.

Measurement
- Goals will be based on revenue growth of the top ten accounts for each resort's identified travel agent, Consortia, luxury wholesale and entertainment accounts.
- Measurement will be based on production by rate code or IATA for the identified accounts.
- Incentive will be weighted by the four segments outlined above from the aggregate of all included resorts.
- All call activities will be logged in the appropriate document, which will include the nature of the call and action steps. The log of calls will be submitted on a weekly basis to the respective DOSM.
- Prospect a list of identified accounts (determine number with respective DOSM) to develop into active accounts (who is booking comp set and how can we steal share?).
Requirements
- 5 or more years selling to the Leisure and Luxury segment is preferred.
- Previous complex or multi-unit property sales are preferred.
- Flexibility to travel frequently.
