Job Description:
McDonald’s Global Supply Chain (GSC) group is responsible for $45 billion of the Corporation’s direct and indirect spend, and we are now recruiting for dedicated, passionate & hard-working Supply Chain professionals to continue digitalization of our Commercial Supply Chain processes. This new, talented, passionate & high-performing team member will help us drive the change needed to make our Digital Supply Chain Vision a reality, collaborating as one with our GSC functions, market SC teams, suppliers, Global Technology, and other functions.
The Position:
Our Global Supply Chain Digitalization Team is looking for someone to lead transformational digital initiatives and manage continuous improvements of our supply chain solutions. This position will report to the Director of GSC Digitalization and be accountable to establish, align & manage a digital roadmap with Business and Technology Stakeholders.
The manager would be accountable for the respective projects that will enable the digital transformation of GSC sub functions. They will work in strategic partnership with the business teams and Global Technology to plan / build / test and handover digital solutions, aiming to drive digital adoption towards a more digital way of working.
Responsibilities:
- Lead parts of our wider Digital Program for our GSC Business Functions. Drive a 3+ year digital roadmap that supports our business & digital needs now & in the future.
- Continuous alignment and prioritization with our GSC business stakeholders such as global- and market teams, as well as alignment with our Global Technology business partners.
- Work with business collaborators and our suppliers to build requirements and design the future, digitally enabled processes.
- Oversee the associated projects to deliver the digital strategy.
- Work with our Global Technology Team and their technology suppliers to develop and test the required technology.
- Handover the solution to our Enablement Team to ensure ongoing support, training, and change management.
- Use of our standard Project Management Hybrid Agile framework and practices.
- Champion continuous improvement & change management across the business & all stakeholders towards a more digital way of working.
Key outcomes:
- 3+ year digital roadmap for the transformational initiatives, aligned with business team members & Global Technology.
- Successful delivery of the projects that support our GSC functions and markets.
- Adoption of our digital capabilities: global and market teams regularly use our digital tools and digitally enabled processes.
- High levels of partner alignment & satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of work experience, experience working in or with global / virtual teams.
- Passion for Digitalization, experience in having digitalized business processes to create business value.
