Job Description

As the AVP of Solution Consulting for ServiceNow's AppEngine business as part of Creator Workflows, you will lead ServiceNow's Global Low-Code Creator Workflows App Engine pre-sales solution consulting business. App Engine is how ServiceNow empowers anyone to build new workflows and create smarter apps, faster, with low code and intelligent automation, all as part of our single platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a global pre-sales strategy for the AppEngine product, ensuring alignment with business objectives across all regions. Tailor approaches to meet the diverse needs of global markets while maintaining consistency in execution.
- Sales Partnership: Collaborate with the VP Solution Sales to achieve the global sales quota. Work closely to align technical sales efforts with overall sales strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Business Units, Outbound Product Management, Technical Product Management, and peer global workflow leaders to drive cohesive GTM strategies and ensure alignment across all functions.
- Global Program Coordination: Work closely with App Engine Specialist Solution Consulting (SSC) leaders in each Geo to coordinate and manage a global program. Ensure that regional strategies are aligned with the global vision and that best practices are shared across regions.
- Sales Campaign Integration: Partner and collaborate with peer workflow leaders to integrate the value of the low-code/no-code platform into all sales campaigns. Drive the enablement of content and empower all solution consultants to highlight the value and demonstrate the differentiation of low-code/no-code during customer engagements.
- Solution Development: Propose technical and creative business solutions in support of sales activities. Present both technical and business aspects of proposed solutions to C-level audiences.
- Customer Relationship Management: Assist in building and maintaining customer relationships, particularly within global accounts.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain and disseminate deep expertise in SaaS, PaaS, and industry-leading application development platforms. Leverage your experience as an application developer and leader of development teams to provide guidance and support to regional teams as they build and deliver demos, prototypes, and technical presentations focused on low-code/no-code and citizen development.
- Innovation & Thought Leadership: Act as a global thought leader in the low-code/no-code space, representing ServiceNow at international industry events, conferences, and customer engagements. Provide market insights and feedback to the product management team to drive product evolution.
- Performance Management: Oversee global pre-sales performance metrics, including pipeline health, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement globally.
- Influence Without Authority: Lead through influence, guiding regional teams and collaborating with cross-functional leaders to achieve shared goals without direct management authority. Foster a culture of collaboration and shared success.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
- Enterprise Sales Expertise: Proven experience in enterprise, complex sales with a focus on PaaS solutions.
- Solutions Consulting Background: Strong background as a successful Solutions Consultant or Pre-Sales professional within the Enterprise Software space.
- Leadership: Proven people leadership skills, including experience managing managers (second-line management).
- Innovative Thinking: Ability to thrive in a culture that requires creative problem-solving and outside-the-box thinking.
- Technical Acumen: Sufficient technical depth to respond to all functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs. Proven success in conveying customer requirements to Product Management teams.
- Regional Experience: Experience leading a distributed global team and working successfully with diverse cultures within internal teams and customer bases.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to client locations throughout the assigned region as needed.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
