Job Overview
Join J&P Hospitality Management today! We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales with exceptional sales skills who will aggressively seek out and secure new business for our portfolio of hotels. You will lead the sales effort for a portfolio of 15-30 hotels in an assigned market, primarily extended stay-based businesses. The position requires 70% “boots on the ground” outside sales efforts. Experience in managing multiple brands and hotels is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive top-line hotel revenue through aggressive sales techniques including outside sales, phone solicitation, and social media.
- Research, develop, and maintain monthly action plans for new targets of prospects who meet our goals of ESSOCC and volume production for individual hotels.
- Submit accurate weekly/monthly logs of sales activities to the VP of Sales and Regional Vice President of Operations.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to successfully ramp up newly built hotels and transition hotels that join the J&P portfolio.
- Provide immediate support and improvement in partnership with General Managers and Area Managers for underperforming hotels.
- Proactively plan and execute market-based routine sales blitzes to maintain the sales funnel.
- Provide comprehensive reporting for owner review on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis as required.
- Meet and exceed quarterly budgeted booking goals.
- Maintain client records and cross-sell the J&P portfolio of hotels.
Qualifications
- Must have previous multi-property sales experience in hotels/hospitality.
- Preferred 10+ years in hospitality sales.
- Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
