Business Development Manager - Recycling Manufacturer - Base Salary to 120k/year - Chicago, IL
- Our client is a leading recycled plastic lumber manufacturer. While serving the commercial, residential, and structural markets, they manufacture a variety of lumber products used in indoor/outdoor furniture.
- Our recycled lumber manufacturing client is looking to add a Business Development Manager to grow and develop their commercial division. The Business Development Manager will assist with identifying sales opportunities while driving product revenue for the division.
- Company HQ is in Chicago, but the Business Development Manager can reside anywhere in the United States; with preference to the Southeast region.
Responsibilities:
- Building and sustaining lasting relationships with both new and existing customers
- Developing sales strategies in uncharted territory
- Working closely with the Sales Manager to develop new points of contact & ways to gain market share
- Use and document sales efforts in SalesForce
- Attend upwards of 10 trade shows/year
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing
- 5+ years of robust Outside Sales experience
- Must be familiar with handling and managing large commercial accounts
- Robust background & network in the indoor/outdoor furniture, case goods, or hospitality furnishings industry
- Entrepreneurial Mindset
- Must be willing to travel upwards of 80% of the time - preferably located near/around an airport
Compensation:
- Our client is offering a base salary up to 120k/year, plus bonus along with a comprehensive benefits package.
- Travel expenses are paid for by client company
