Position Summary:
The Director, Process Engineering is responsible for defining the Process Engineering framework, standards, and processes for all of SFS while actively engaging in process engineering work efforts in any function within SFS. They will also be an influencer in creating a process engineering culture across the company that ultimately leads to business units having process engineering skills within them and following the same framework and standards. This director will also lead a team of full-time and/or contract resources assigned to process engineering work efforts.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead / Develop Stellantis Financial Services departmental and end-to-end process improvements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and vendors, as necessary, to plan intentional process improvement implementations that enhance process efficiencies, effectiveness, and KPIs.
- Liaison with Director, Originations Systems Development to monitor Sprint Team progress including development and QA testing to ensure high-quality improvements and production releases.
- Perform market research to identify best-in-class processes and organizational structures to provide further enhancements to processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise to executive teams on optimizing departmental and end-to-end (cross-departmental) processes and controls.
- Consult with business partners, subject matter experts, and information technology on automation opportunities.
- Review and resolve escalated project concerns, blockers, and requests for changes related to process engineering engagements.
- Regularly report on progress, projections, gaps, and potential needs, highlighting key areas of accomplishments, metrics, risks, and contingency planning.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities: Assist in directing the work of employees assigned to the department by leading and overseeing their day-to-day activities and work schedules and by providing work-related guidance to the Process Engineering team in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.

Experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry (Auto preferred).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a manager of 5 or more employees.
Skills Required:
- In-depth knowledge of Auto Finance, processes, procedures, regulations, and guidelines.
- Familiarity with technologies like MS Office, Visio, Miro, or similar process mapping software.
- Proven experience in applying process engineering discipline including metrics-driven analyses and recommendations and process KPIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in Project Management, Business/Information Technology, or a related field.
Travel: 10-20% as required.
Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; San Antonio, TX; Phoenix, AZ.
