Responsibilities:
- Roll-up your sleeves, and become a trusted advisor to all levels within the prospective customer organization from CEOs, to Developers, to Learning and Development Directors.
- Be extremely flexible in tackling technical conversations with highly proficient stakeholders, and reduce complexity to a minimum with less-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team and operate with outstanding coherence to close new business and serve our prospects with quality.
- Identify the business challenge of our prospects from a technical perspective and deliver with confidence approaches available within our suite to satisfy their requirements.
- Be a creative, upbeat, positive player at all times while guiding the prospects’ assessments of our products at various technical levels.
- Be a responsive and creative member of cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, success) and provide value internally to your sales team as well as to your assigned prospects who are asking “how to do it in a smart way.”
- Be comfortable speaking about web technologies and understand good practices.
- Understand, master, and become a pro at describing our architecture to prospects and address promptly every question they may have surrounding our technology.
- Learn our product like nobody else knows it in the company, and be able to support our Product team with great insights and feedback.
Requirements:
- Technical sales experience in similar roles (Technical Account Manager, Solution Architect);
- 5+ years’ experience working in a Pre-Sales, Engagement Management, LMS implementation or integration consultant;
- B.A. or B.S. degree (M.S. or an M.B.A. is a plus);
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time;
- A “can do” attitude, which means you look at obstacles as opportunities of making Docebo succeed; strong sales attitude and instinct, and enjoy speaking with prospective clients in all stages of the sales cycle;

- Good working knowledge of frontend, backend and connectivity approaches/technologies;
- Understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript (and modern frameworks);
- An understanding of programming concepts and the ability to discuss technical specifications, such as APIs, is crucial. Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or other programming languages is beneficial for facilitating product discussions and developing proofs of concept, though direct coding is not a primary task.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards REST, oAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0;
- Strong knowledge of enterprise technologies and systems as like LDAP, SSO, CRM, ERP or HRIS;
- An attention to detail related to documenting requirements and familiarity with producing and presenting solutions to a range of audiences.
- Ability to share your technical knowledge while maintaining an upbeat pace (don’t get them bored in jargon if not needed) and a positive mindset;
- Knowledge of the LMS industry and its surrounding standards will be plus (xAPI, SCORM, AICC);
- Experience in the SaaS industry will be considered an advantage; portfolio and track of projects where REST APIs and other modern web frameworks were used heavily.
- You should have familiarity with various connectivity principles and development paradigms. You are not writing code, but our prospects expect clarity and direction on connectivity between their internal systems to their Learning Management suite.
- Aware of data protection principles and ability to research and apply industry specific requirements to our sales process.
