This is an opportunity to join a leading hedge fund manager with approximately $12 billion in assets under management, where you will work directly with the Head of Investor Relations & Business Development.
Your primary focus will be on fostering strong relationships with investors and conveying intricate investment strategies in a clear and engaging manner.
Responsibilities
- Master the Investment Philosophy: Develop a deep understanding of our investment approach and value proposition, and explain these concepts to both current and prospective investors.
- Engage with Clients and Investors: Participate in client presentations, proactively solve problems, and handle necessary follow-ups with professionalism and efficiency.
- Enhance Communication Materials: Collaborate with the Investor Relations team to refine presentation materials, investor communications, and marketing documents.
- Drive Capital Raising Efforts: Implement our global marketing strategy by identifying and engaging with institutional and high net worth investors, developing new client leads.
- Coordinate with Internal Teams: Partner with departments like Investment, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to address investor requests and ensure smooth communication.
- Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: Manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining open and effective communication with colleagues.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a relevant role, with a background in fixed income, such as sales, trading, or debt capital markets.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to understand and explain complex investment strategies with confidence.
- Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to make a significant impact.
- Curiosity and Accountability: A high level of intellectual curiosity and personal responsibility.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus and the ability to produce high-quality work while managing multiple priorities.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with emerging technologies like project management tools, business intelligence resources, and CRM systems.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensing: Series 3 license is preferred or will be required upon hire.
