If there’s one thing your years of clinical training and patient education have taught you, it’s how to manage priorities, and move seamlessly from one challenge to the next.
In this role, you will function as an extension of the Medical Affairs organization and will be responsible for developing and managing professional relationships with community medical experts. You will:
- Identify and manage peer-to-peer relationships with community medical experts aligned within the therapeutic area of Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC), consistent with the strategy and objectives of Medical Affairs.
- Engage in scientific exchange about the science and clinical application of the Client's Rare Disease portfolio, focused on PBC treatment, to external stakeholders. Share and obtain insights about current practice, treatment landscape, and emerging clinical and scientific data.
- Support and participate in the Client's On-Demand virtual medical request line, be immediately available to answer medical requests virtually from HCPs.
- Develop and maintain scientific, clinical, and therapeutic expertise in rare disease focused on PBC.
Minimum Requirements:
- Advanced Degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) or clinical experience
- 2+ years of MSL or related experience
- Knowledge of PhRMA, OIG, and other guidelines relating to compliant medical communications
- Ability to travel ~ 60-80%
Desired Requirements:
- Rare disease or hepatology experience
- Product launches and life cycle management
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain credible and scientific relationships with clinicians in the field.
- Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.
