Position Overview: The CFO will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring robust financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This role will focus more on finance than accounting and will play a critical role in shaping the company’s financial future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company's business objectives and growth plans.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis to guide decision-making.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company’s assets and interests are protected.
- Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities and financial impacts of strategic decisions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance and strategy to the executive team, board of directors, and other key stakeholders.
- Operational Efficiency: Implement and refine financial systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the homebuilding or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of financial management, strategic planning, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other executives and departments.
- Experience with financial software and systems.

Pay: $275,000.00 - $325,000.00 per year
