Internal Audit Summer Internship
Summary of Responsibilities:
The Internal Audit Summer Internship role will provide the intern with an opportunity to participate in audits and gain a stronger understanding of the audit profession within the Banking industry. The primary function of the Auditor is to execute basic audit testing as part of internal audit reviews and activities. They will perform testing in a timely manner, ensuring all audit quality and client relation standards are met.
This 2025 Summer Internship is a 10-week program for undergraduate students who have an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026.
This internship position is located in either Boston, Miami or Dallas.
Essential Functions:
The intern will execute basic IT audit testing as part of internal audit reviews and activities. Specifically, the intern will perform the following tasks:
- Review the technology supporting the Bank's business processes and assess the effectiveness of system security, resiliency, and related controls.
- Analyze data and technology processes to evaluate compliance with established standards.
- Work within their audit team to share ideas, design audit techniques, and participate in stand-up meetings.
- Exercise independent judgment in identifying issues and assessing risk, and present the results to the relevant audit team member.
- Document audit testing and follow-up tasks in accordance with relevant audit standards.
Requirements:
- An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between December 2025 - Spring 2026
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above, with a major in Technology, Data Science, Accounting, Statistics, or Business Administration
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Strong analytics and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and within teams
- Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Attention to detail
- Availability for the entire internship program
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work in an environment that supports employees from all backgrounds and fosters an environment of inclusion.
- Preferred to have academic knowledge in analytical programming languages such as Python or R.

Working Conditions: Frequent minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, and climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure, and certifications and location.
Salary: $67,600- $67,600 /year
