JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for implementing Casino promotions to keep guests fully engaged and maximize potential revenue. Ensure the highest standards of efficiency, guest service, and security are met in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Formalize decisions affecting the ships' profitability while securing guest engagement.
- Oversee Casino Marketing campaigns and events.
- Travel related position; visit ships to observe day to day casino operations, provide feedback on customer service.
- Analyze and explore all potential revenue opportunities for casino operational activities.
- Handle escalations; resolve issues and/or concerns regarding Casino Operations while supporting company policy and profitability.
- Drive player ratings and accuracy by constant analysis and KPI metrics that show player engagement and successful promotional events.
- Coach and develop Casino Host team members to meet or exceed quality, service, and revenue objectives.
- Ensure ship casinos are adequately supplied in a timely manner, with all necessary promotional equipment, by coordinating with the ships and the Purchasing department.
- Implement cruise offer initiatives to grow new and existing business, ensuring maximization of property participation.
- Develop innovative ideas and strategies to actively participate in casino revenue growth.
- Routinely review policies and procedures, make recommendations for improvement and implement as needed.
- Compile operational reports and present to Management. Identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Business Administration or Marketing preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 7 years' experience in a management capacity within the casino industry required.
- Proven track record meeting revenue targets and executing successful marketing initiatives.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Strategic planning; ability to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Effective verbal and written communication, rapport building, facilitation, team building, coaching and motivational skills are required.
- Outstanding interpersonal, teamwork, negotiating and communication skills to engage all levels within the organization and external customers.
- Proven team management experience required.
