Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team in Frederick, Maryland.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute software test plans.
- Create test plans with test cases based on user stories.
- Utilize automated and manual processes to generate data and implement test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the Agile team.
- Ensure that quality software is provided for release to production by independently executing test scripts.
- Write test scripts.
- Review requirements, specifications, and documentation to gain a thorough understanding of the programs and processes to be certified.
- Create and modify test scripts to certify system changes.
- Assist in the training of less experienced staff and may fulfill a supervisory role.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of seven years of experience as a software tester utilizing manual testing and automation testing to include automation tools.
- Knowledge of coding with automated testing frameworks, tools, and services.
- Knowledge of applying QA methodology in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Ability to work with different teams across organizations to present and communicate analytical findings on an independent basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Software Quality Assurance experience with TMIP-J applications.
- SAFe certifications, such as: SAFe for Teams, SAFe DevOps, SAFe Agile Software Engineering, Leading SAFe.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Compensation:
The projected compensation range for this position is $102,700-$170,800. Factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate include relevant work experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
