Reporting to the Vice President and Group Executive of PQI, the Veralto Enterprise System Leader (VESL) will be a key member of the senior management team responsible for leading the strategy design and implementation of the Veralto Enterprise System (VES) to support the PQI Segment’s continued success.
This executive will lead the roadmap to embed VES into the company culture, allowing PQI to achieve Policy Deployment (PD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets. The VESL will oversee all platform-wide VES activities, focusing on fundamentals, lean, innovation, and growth.
This role includes coaching and training senior leaders and associates to enable process improvements and sustain stronger results using VES tools and analytics.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Marketing, or Operations required. Master’s degree in a related field or MBA preferred.
- Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience leading and applying continuous improvement principles (VES) to various business situations across growth, innovation, and lean.
- Executive VES or L1 leader at a major operating company; has led PD install workshops, Certified Practitioner roadmaps and President Kaizens.
- Strong followership to drive focus and impact of results. Must be a pragmatic leader who thinks and acts strategically, viewing the business from a general management perspective.
- A ‘Gemba-based’ leader who has demonstrated experience working with Teams at Gemba to drive great VES adoption with an eye towards ‘hands-on’ learning.
- Computer skills (data analysis, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, statistical tools).
- Must be able to provide concise executive summaries of business performance issues, changes needed or made, and results delivered.
- Excellent communication skills to work with individuals across all levels of the organization and training others.
- Proven track record in a multinational senior leadership position with experience in global companies.
- Commit to 50% of required business travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
VES Leadership
- Guide and coach associates and management on using VES tools and processes.
- Champion using key VES fundamentals—daily management, standard work, and problem-solving.
- Drive VES immersion for L1 leaders and mentor Business VESLs in applying VES.
- Engage the network of VES leaders across Veralto to identify best practices.
- Lead a VES organization that will directly provide formal and informal VES training and coaching. Augment with other sources of training and coaching (Veralto VESO and outside sources). Improve VES training and facilitation by pursuing certification in VES tools for self and others.
- Provide coaching and support for PD workshops, Obeya/Growth rooms, and strategic initiatives.
Continuous Improvement:
- Lead the creation, improvement, and deployment of continuous improvement processes, best practices, and tools.
- Facilitate breakthroughs and sustainment of strategic initiatives.
- Support global management in planning, facilitating, implementing, and sustaining kaizen activities.
- Facilitate the annual business planning process and align VES initiatives with business priorities.
- Assist in the development of action plans in support of +QDIP improvement projects.
- Participate in appropriate daily management, KPI, Operational and PD reviews.
- Communicate and drive “Best Practices” across the business and facilitate Veralto leadership benchmarking sessions.
- Manage team, including performance management, compensation increases, development actions, consulting on career aspirations, and extending support to indirectly supervised associates.
- Develop succession capability and build talent funnels to ensure growth objectives for Veralto.
- Establish and manage the VES function budget.
- Facilitate the Annual Business Planning process and align VES initiatives with business priorities.
Strategy and Implementation:
- Define, develop, and lead the strategy design and global implementation of VES within the PQI Platform, ensuring initiatives are rigorously resourced and executed to achieve sustainable results through PQI’s Strategy enablement process.
- Partner with Presidents, L1 VESLs, and senior management to drive targeted, sustainable improvement across the company.
- Support and align on the integration of new acquisitions.
Capability Building:
- Develop and lead the VES certification roadmap.
- Build sustainable VES capability to meet current and emerging needs.
- Ensure CP/ACP’s and CT/ACT’s productive use of certifications and advance VES capability level.
- Communicate and drive best practices across the business.
- Facilitate leadership benchmarking sessions and share best practices globally.
Performance Management & Talent Development:
- Align VES efforts to drive impact with PD and KPI priorities.
- Review and track performance metrics in sales and other functions, establishing cadence for review and improvement.
- Audit existing processes and systems to assess and determine actions required for improvements.
- Create a VES community to build capability and encourage cross-functional kaizen experiences through the VESL Community.
- Develop succession capability and build talent funnels to ensure growth objectives.
- Lead a VES organization that provides formal and informal VES training and coaching.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $285000 - $330000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
