The Center for NeuroImaging, NeuroPhenotyping, NeuroComputation, and NeuroModulation (C4N) is searching for a Chief MRI Technologist. The Center houses a new Siemens MAGNETOM Cima.X 3T MRI scanner, equipped to do multimodal imaging for research purposes.
The Chief MRI Technologist will work with the Director of the C4N and Center leadership to ensure that all aspects of the neuroimaging core are running smoothly. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing MRI safety training for faculty, staff, and trainees.
- Managing quality assessment activities for the scanner.
- Assisting in developing MR safety procedures, sequence development, and testing.
- Supervising other MR technologists.
- Performing research scans on research subjects.
- Participating in MR safety committee meetings, Center Steering Committee meetings, staff meetings, and other Center activities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Certification, Ohio Department of Health Radiology License, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Certification are required. 2 years of relevant experience required; 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
