Our team is looking for innovative, enthusiastic, and versatile data, digital, and AI professionals that will drive us forward on this exciting venture.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- You provide thought leadership for the Enterprise Data Architecture function, by authoring standards and instructions, training, and approving the work of ontology specialists.
- You are a member of the enterprise’s data governance team, and provide vision for, and implement the roadmap for the ontology management application and semantic services in the context of data governance.
- You collaborate with business partners and provide recommendations to drive alignment between data domains.
- You extend the functionality of the company’s ontology management application, and its corresponding backend database.
- You apply and update the quality framework for semantics.
- You research, curate, and re-factor existing ontologies in the ontology editor application.
- You are responsible for estimating the development effort for new demands for ontology design services.
- You collaborate with internal and external business partners and provide recommendations to drive alignment across the enterprise’s data architecture.
- You develop SPARQL queries as connection between the UI and the database.
- You implement SHACL shapes and rules to convert them to OWL, and vice versa.
- You work in a Scrum model to deliver on time.
What You Bring:
- You have minimum 3+ years of experience in leading and managing the backlog of a data engineering team.
- You are proficient with W3C standards RDF, RDFS, SHACL, OWL, and SKOS, and common ontologies like FOAF and FIBO.
- As a plus, you are familiar with the Industrial Data Ontology (IDO).
- You have 3-5 years as developer for complex IT systems with various forms of graph databases as backends, e.g. Neptune, StarDog, Neo4J, Tinkerpop.
- You can program in JAVA and Python and have experience with UI frameworks like Angular.
- You are proficient with ontology APIs, e.g. OWL API, and python, and JAVA libraries related to XML, JSON-LD, OWL, RDF and TTL.
- You are a great teammate, with an independent approach and clear focus on delivering and solving problems.
- You have excellent communication skills and are proficient in English.
- You are experienced in Agile methodologies, use project management tools like JIRA, and create documentation in Confluence.
Salary range: 150-160k
About the Team:
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
