The company is launching a new division with a focus on placing qualified teachers, special education professionals, and other essential staff in primary and secondary schools. We are seeking an experienced leader and entrepreneur to lead and build this division as a new growth segment for the company.
As the Vice President you will spearhead the launch and growth of our Education Staffing Division. You will be responsible for developing and executing a go-to-market strategy, building client relationships, and driving the overall success of the division. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. This position requires a deep understanding of education staffing, regulations, and best practices, as well as experience in recruiting within the education space. You must have a proven track record in sales, business development, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the business plan for the Education Staffing Division, including go-to-market strategies and sales goals.
- Drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding the client base, and positioning the division as a leader in education staffing.
- Establish short- and long-term goals that align with the company’s overall strategic vision.
- Business Development & Sales
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in primary and secondary schools, school districts, and educational institutions.
- Lead sales efforts to secure staffing contracts with schools and educational organizations.
- Create and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets for the division.
- Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of recruiters, account managers, and support staff dedicated to education staffing.
- Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture that aligns with the company’s values and goals.
- Ensure that the team is delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates.
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the division, including staffing placements, client management, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with other departments, including HR, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of services.
- Monitor market trends and client needs to adapt strategies and service offerings.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in education staffing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, and growing a division or business unit.
- Strong knowledge of the primary and secondary education system, including an understanding of special education needs.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to secure and maintain large contracts.
- Must have strong ability to follow candidate control best practices and pre-closing tactics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, KPI-driven environment.
- Bachelors degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Salary: $125,000 - $140,000, based on experience. Commission eligible with annual bonus opportunity tied to achievement against budget. Comprehensive benefits and PTO package, including 401k, offered.
