LMI seeks a skilled Business Process Analyst (Mid-Level) to support a CBP PMO in the National Capital Region. Responsibilities
- Provide strong managerial experience organizing, planning, directing, and managing staff.
- Assist the program manager in providing required team leadership, guidance, and program management vision.
- Consult with senior leadership as needed in support of the acquisition day-to-day operations.
- Assist in providing overall supervision of personnel in cross-functional teams.
- Provide expertise in the training of CBP program financial management staff and across the CBP program financial management acquisition community.
- Possess the knowledge to prepare Independent Government Cost Estimates including documentation.
- Support CBP in the cost Estimating Competency area including certifications from accredited bodies in the area of cost estimating and analysis.
- Possess expertise to conduct Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA), Critical Path Analysis, and other associated schedule analysis activities.
- Provide advanced technical expertise in reporting, models, standardized reporting, complex financial evaluation and funding assessments to include expertise in data extraction and analysis in SAP Enterprise Resource and Business Warehouse for the CBP program support and evaluations.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, sound judgement and effective decision making.
- Communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders across multiple agencies.
Qualifications
- Master's degree and at least six (6) years of demonstrated experience with budget planning, financial management and accounting methods, and financial management tools.
- Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Practices, life-cycle cost estimating, program spend plans, and Integrated Baseline Reviews as the IBRs relate to program financial management.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training.
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage the impact of shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and MS Teams.
- An active CBP Background Investigation is required.
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
