Sr. Director of Generative Artificial Intelligence Strategy - Information Technology
Honeywell is seeking a Sr. Director of Generative AI Strategy that will spearhead our mission to revolutionize our industry by integrating advanced Gen AI into every facet of our operations, products, and services. As the Sr. Director of Generative AI Strategy, you will be responsible for Honeywell’s Gen AI transformation as a vital bridge between the C-suite, front-line staff, and external parties, ensuring strategic alignment and seamless value realization of Gen AI initiatives across the organization. You will closely collaborate cross-functionally to align the Gen AI strategy with overall business objectives, securing executive support and resources. The role will focus on understanding operational challenges and opportunities, enabling the adoption of Gen AI solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity. Externally, you will engage with industry partners, academia, and venture capital to foster a robust ecosystem of innovation, securing cutting-edge technologies and insights that drive the organization's competitive edge in the market.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Honeywell Gen AI Strategy: Envision, develop and partner to deliver a comprehensive Gen AI strategy aligned with Honeywell business objectives. Measure and report on the value realization of Gen AI initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet evolving business needs.
- Leading Through Disruption: Set clear goals and expectations with direct reports that align with the overall strategic objective. Provide support, encourage innovation and facilitate growth while monitoring performance to exceed organizational targets.
- Innovation Ecosystem: Engage with external start-ups, venture capital and research providers to ensure awareness and pioneer Honeywell leveraging emerging Gen AI technologies.
- Enterprise Partnership & Governance: Partner with SBG/Functional strategy leaders to ensure the integration of Gen AI technologies are embedded in SBG/Functional strategies. Collaborate with AI Responsibility Committee to ensure that Gen AI initiatives meet regulatory requirements while pushing the boundaries of rapid innovation.
- Visionary Leadership & Change Management: Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence as Gen AI is scaled across Honeywell. Minimize resistance and maximize engagement as the utilization of Gen AI increases.
- Themes That Drive Boulders: Work closely with SBG/Functional leaders, Gen AI ambassadors, and external stakeholders to identify and scope current and potential themes for Gen AI within the organization.
- Upskilling For Transformation: Lead an AI 1st Culture of Continuous Learning and Innovation in partnership with HR by inspiring and delivering the upskilling of Futureshapers in Gen AI technologies.
- From Strategy to Financial Results: Develop 3-year plan for the Digital Gen AI P&L and partner with Finance to ensure value capture to strategic plan.
YOU MUST HAVE
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT strategy or management, with at least 3 years focused on digital emerging technologies.
- Proven experience in leadership roles with a focus on digital and/or AI strategy and implementation in the IT field.
- Strong understanding of the latest AI technologies and their applications in improving customer experiences and business processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in leading large, diverse teams in complex IT projects.
- Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a passion for innovation.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Business field.
- Familiarity with industry-specific applications of AI in IT, such as cybersecurity, data analytics, and automation.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capability.
