THE JOB
Coface is seeking a Regional Vice President – Direct Sales Midwest. Reporting to SVP, Head of Middle Markets Sales - US, the Regional Vice President’s primary responsibilities include driving new B2B revenue by leading a team built to target, prospect, and win new customers while developing deep local referral relationships with insurance brokers, businesses lenders, and other influencers.
In addition, the RVP will be responsible for directing all activities of the regional territory which lead to the retention and development of a portfolio of high-quality direct sales business. Successful candidate will be comfortable working with and selling to decision makers and influencers, and leading a team of sales professionals.
The Regional Vice President – Direct Sales (RVP)’s additional responsibilities include:
- Implementation of ‘Power the Core.’
- Hires, trains, leads and motivates a diverse sales team.
- Develops and executes regional call plans which target key industries.
- Identifies and develops multi-distribution opportunities and converts premium production.
- Encourages cross-selling opportunities.
- Manages the sales team including budget planning and monitoring of goals as outlined by regional and company goals.
- Demonstrates understanding of prospects, customers, partners and our overall market to define, develop, and deliver a sales strategy in line with the company’s goals.
- Provides management information, statistics, production numbers and other reports as required by Senior Management/SVP.
- Takes ownership of sales outcomes including results, staffing / retention, and pipeline management / forecasting integrity.
- Works closely with marketing to drive lead generation and communication of a compelling value proposition to customers and channel partners.
- Develops a high performing sales culture focused on learning, development and collaboration that attracts, retains and motivates a diverse group of employees.
- Identifies relevant business targets for the sales force and set individual and / or collective goals.
- Active involvement in skill development programs for key staff.
- Produces accurate and regular reports to the Senior Management team as required.
- Ensures full utilization of the CRM.
