Job Summary:
Responsible for safeguarding the facility assets and ensuring the financial statements and records are prepared and maintained in accordance with GAAP. Must ensure compliance with company financial and accounting policies and procedures and ensure internal controls are effective in both design and operation. Participates in establishing and implementing strategic business plans for the facility as a key member of the Executive Team. Communicates on a regular basis with an array of internal and external constituents, including various regulatory bodies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business (MBA) or Healthcare Administration (MHA)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP), or Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA)
- Prior Healthcare CFO experience
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to analyze data, research information, effectively prioritize projects and make independent decisions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to be an effective leader to achieve coaching skills and obtain high levels of performance from employees. Must be able to effectively negotiate and problem solve, able to resolve complaints, and deal with stressful situations. Ability to develop positive interactions with Board of Directors, fellow executives, leaders and staff. Dependability, flexibility and ability to work well with others are an essential part of our successful team.
