The Lead Nurse will be scheduled based on need and at the discretion of the Hospital. The Lead Nurse assumes responsibility for the operation of the patient care areas for an assigned shift. Responsibilities include coordination of the activities of the units as well as directing, organizing, and assigning work to nursing staff. Assess, monitor, and educate nursing staff on patient care. The Lead Nurse represents nursing administration for an assigned shift.
