Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Operational Process Enhancement to lead and optimize our business operations. This role is critical in driving efficiency and effectiveness across all operational processes. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of both loan operations business processes and technology, enabling them to implement innovative solutions that enhance productivity and streamline workflows. The Vice President will also act as a key resource for the operations team, stepping in to lead projects, serve as a backup project lead, and coordinate closely with the IT team to address operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Assess current operational processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of process changes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage high-impact projects aimed at improving operational processes and flow.
- Serve as a backup project lead, when necessary, stepping in as needed to ensure continuity and successful project execution.
- Collaborate with the operations team to support project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Partner with the IT team to identify and implement technological solutions that support operational enhancements and time-saving measures.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between teams to ensure successful project outcomes and process improvements.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies into existing processes, ensuring seamless implementation and minimal disruption.
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans and operational strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
- Drive initiatives for process enhancements to ensure the operations team remains best in class.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the firm by providing insights and recommendations related to operational improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, process improvement, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of business processes, project management, and technology integration.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects and driving process improvements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
