Description:
It is the function of the assistant vice president of Facilities Management to provide an overview and broad management control over the health systems construction planning, execution and administration. In the performance of this function, the assistant vice president of Facilities Management is responsible to protect and promote the interest of Baptist Health South Florida in all matters, and to take actions required to satisfy responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities.
Estimated salary range for this position is $159276.13 - $207058.97 / year depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Degrees: Masters
Licenses & Certifications: Drivers License from Florida
Additional Qualifications: LEED Certification preferred. At least two years of formal engineering or architectural training (BSCE, BSCM, BSAE), or at least 10 years of Healthcare building construction and operations experience required. A variety of Healthcare building construction types are most desirable. Extensive knowledge of Hospital Facilities Operations, as well as basic understanding of Management relating to hospital departments and budgeting procedures. Demonstrate management know-how, leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate well - both verbally and in writing to a broad range of contacts in both the healthcare and construction industry. Valid driver license and clean driving record as occasional driving may be required with a company vehicle.
