Currently, our tax team is looking for a Tax Manager I to join our team. We find our synergetic environment and hands-on approach, along with accessibility to partners is what makes us so effective. Roles and Responsibilities
Individuals must have their CPA license and have a minimum of three to six years of experience as a senior level accountant (or equivalent experience as deemed appropriate by the partners). They have technical proficiency with the ability to supervise complete engagements and effective management of a book of business. They will have five to ten years of overall experience in certified public accounting firms. Tax Manager I individuals are expected to:
- Supervise and complete routine engagements.
- Supervise Tax Associates and Tax Seniors to provide feedback to them and evaluate their progress.
- Become experts in their assigned areas.
- Develop new client contacts and relationships beneficial to the firm.
- Assist in firm administrative functions as assigned by the partners.
- Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.
- Highly proficient and knowledgeable in the firm’s policy and procedures.
- Partner’s discretion as to their overall ability and qualities to work effectively at this level.
