The goal of Sam's Club Membership and Marketing Product team is to create a delightful, best-in-class membership experience and platform for our members. We plan to invest in seamless and frictionless end-to-end experiences to further grow our member base. The Product Manager will be creating a world-class loyalty and partner program to deliver outstanding value for our members. Team members work cross-functionally with operations, dot.com, supply chain, membership and marketing, and merchandising. Collectively, our associates' skills range from data analysis to computer engineering to marketing. We are a nimble group that comes from a vast background yet are guided by the same north star: to work quickly, cost-effectively and with vast foresight. Together, we innovate and drive the future of retail by anticipating the needs of our members - often even before they know what they want themselves.
What You'll Do
- Developing and enhancing products - you will manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks.
- Defining vision and strategies for your product family, using domain expertise, internal and external best practices, identifying market opportunities, building business cases, and approving objectives.
- Crafting and developing solutions to large business challenges - communicate business and customer needs to key partners to implement products and timelines.
- Driving business plans and projects by identifying the customer and operational needs of the product.
- Building a team environment by selecting, training, and mentoring.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of your products and initiatives to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness with participating stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
- You are passionate about membership and loyalty, user experience, and analytics.
- You are able to translate product strategy into detailed specifications, making functional and user interface design tradeoffs, managing product launches, and owning the product successes post-launch.
- You are a strategic thinker and able to synthesize data from multiple sources (including analytics, user research, operations research, and design) to identify key unmet needs and solutions that can address the needs.
- You have the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work with a large number of cross-functional teams such as business, marketing, user experience, engineering, and analytics to make the vision of the product successful.
- Domain knowledge in a Membership or subscription-based organization, Loyalty Programs, Retail, eCommerce, and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00. Additional Compensation Includes Annual Or Quarterly Performance Bonuses.
Minimum Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in product management. Option 2: 7 years' experience in product management or related area.
Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products. We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
