Responsibilities
As a Advanced Sensors and Kill Chains Technical Advisor/SME, you will serve as program advisory lead for extremely time critical technical projects, test projects, or tasks requiring appropriate level technical expertise.
This position will be hybrid from home and will require frequent travel across CONUS locations from coast to coast and to MTSI facilities.
Your essential functions will include, and may not be limited to:
- Assists acquisition planning, market research, and drafting technical requirements and documents.
- Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to verify program needs are identified to meet project goals.
- Advises the Government assess the technical sufficiency, cost, quality, and timely delivery of program deliverables.
- Supports management and execution of programs consisting of multiple projects. Ensures overall program is properly coordinated and efficiently accomplished with the best available resources.
- Supports and advises acquisition and program management functions, advises Government management on design challenges, risk assessments, market solutions, documentation, production challenges, operational delivery and integration, and supports system program reviews.
- Serves as a SME Technical Analyst related to classified sensor and weapons programs.
- You may serve as a technical advisor and liaison to FFRDCs, government program offices, and military operational leaders.
Qualifications
- 20+ years of relevant DoD/IC or relevant industry work experience with no less than two (2) years' experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment, with at least one (1) year of that total being within the past 5 years.
- Previous operational/test/engineering experience in the weapons and/or kill chain subject areas highly desired.
- Military Sensor Operational experience Highly Desired.
- Security Policy Experience Desired.
Education Requirements:
- Technical Bachelor's Degree (BS/BSE) Required.
- Relevant Master's degree (MS/MSE/MA/MBA) Desired.
Clearance Requirements:
Active TS/SCI (Cl polygraph highly desired).
