The DTC Product Lead is responsible for driving our healthcare direct-to-consumer (DTC) product portfolio for the benefit of the Digital Enablement business, its products, partners, and clients. This role is a crucial part of our product leadership team, contributing to product development, sales planning, and market thought leadership. The DTC Product Lead will establish and maintain relationships with senior levels within partner and customer organizations, as well as IQVIA Inc.
Responsibilities:
- Overview
- Specializes in assessing and understanding the market, defining product strategy, vision, and overall roadmap prioritization and planning.
- Responsible for managing requirements and all activities for the DTC product family including product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life, ensuring quality standards are met and that the product/s support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
- Identifies gaps and provides expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner.
- Product Strategy
- Perform extensive market research to understand the needs of our clients and partners, especially in the rapidly evolving data privacy legislative and regulatory environment in the U.S.
- Develop and communicate a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape, as well as market trends.
- Drive strategic vision for the DTC product portfolio to meet business objectives.
- Lead development of the DTC product roadmap. Define and prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business impact, and ROI. Collaborate and support a unified product roadmap within Digital Enablement and broader IQVIA.
- Stay abreast of changes to U.S. law and regulatory environment which might affect DTC developments. Work with stakeholders to adapt to new or emerging restrictions.
- Product Operations
- Support the operational aspects of the DTC portfolio, ensuring seamless integration and cross-teams collaboration within Digital Enablement and the broader IQVIA. Ensure the operational success of direct reports.
- Monitor and troubleshoot any operational issues regarding the DTC portfolio.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision-making.
- Identify areas where DTC data can be expanded (or reduced) to meet our needs and those of our clients. Work with the direct reports to address these areas.
- Oversee information governance and privacy issues relating to DTC products within Digital Enablement. Collaborate with IQVIA’s RBU and Global Information Governance and Legal on standards, policies, and best practices.
- Oversee the internal evangelism and education regarding DTC products to Digital Enablement staff, internal and external partners, and clients.
- Financial
- Oversee all internal financial, pricing, legal, contracting framework, and information governance regarding DTC products.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary to meet or exceed targets.
- Management
- Plan, assign, and guide direct reports.
- Appraise performance and guide professional development.
- Address employee relations issues and resolve problems.
- Leadership
- Support and advise IQVIA and Digital enablement market efforts.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Represent the company as a thought leader in the healthcare sectors.
- Engage in speaking engagements, publications, and networking events to enhance our company's reputation and visibility.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a culture of positivity, excellence, and innovation.
- 15 years relevant industry experience in pharmaceutical marketing with at least 5 years directly in DTC marketing.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and fostering strategic partnerships.
- Proven track record at developing mid-level and high-level contacts.
- Strategic business and Industry awareness and the ability to translate emerging Industry trends relevant to the organization.
- Experience with relevant U.S. data privacy laws and regulations is a plus. Experience with privacy enhancing technologies (PETs) is a plus.
- Experience with generative AI is a plus.
