C & G is seeking a Senior Business Financial Manager Task Lead to be the lead for all cognizant programs within a NAVSEA Program office, for financial related matters. As the overall financial task lead, the individual shall have a demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of the complex requirements and financial analyses required to support the execution of an ACAT I shipbuilding program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Will ensure all teams have access to the proper financial databases and programs, as well as training for using all necessary financial systems.
Will ensure all personnel are properly trained and knowledgeable in DoD/DoN/NAVSEA financial related rules, regulations, policies and guidelines.
Is responsible for the delivery of high quality and accurate products to the Government for all programs.
Provides overarching guidance to and management of BFM teams.
Will assist in the development of programs' financial briefings and reports, including analyses of programs' financial health and affordability.
Will assist the Government in the generation of metrics and trend analysis.
Education/Experience Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business/Management or related discipline preferred.
15 years professional experience.
10 years of DoD/DoN, specifically NAVSEA shipbuilding financial management experience and/or PPBE process preferred.
Supervisory experience; team management experience; familiar with DoD/DoN financial policies and regulations; ERP experience; budget cycle development knowledge; trend analysis preferred.
Knowledge/experience with DoD acquisition phases; experience DoN/NAVSEA shipbuilding programs preferred.
Navy ERP experience is a must.
