What You Would Get To Do
FIRST is seeking a highly professional and technologically adept individual to provide support to one of our Solutions accounts with their event and meeting coordination. The Associate Event Technology Manager will be responsible for assisting with the marketing of events and conferences from the initial save the date through post-event reporting and managing attendee information in Cvent and Excel.
Your Contributions
- Assist with managing high volume in-person, hybrid and virtual corporate events
- Diligent handling of confidential invitee data, ensuring information is consistent and accurate
- Develop, oversee, and maintain attendee registration sites using Cvent (Cvent experience required)
- Design and distribute event communications and marketing materials
- Provide team members with registration data, year over year statistics, and insight into varied elements and event analytics
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to execute internal and external events
- Create event mobile apps, including agendas, headshots, biographies, and other customized information
- Assist clients with the registration process
- Lead onsite registration procedures, including training temp staff and monitoring attendee participation
- Travel periodically to oversee attendee logistics and registration for offsite events
- Maintain a professional demeanor, treating everyone as a VIP client
- Act as an ambassador for the FIRST brand, leading by example and displaying the company’s core values (Ambition, Creativity, Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork)
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years’ of related experience in Event Technology (Cvent experience required)
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Strong attention to detail is essential
- Experience in Financial Services preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- General knowledge of HTML and CSS is beneficial, but not required
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly motivated, able to work independently
- Exhibit strong work ethic, patience, and a winning attitude
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work outside normal business hours (evenings, weekends) and travel when required
ADMINISTRATION & GENERAL
- Assume responsibility for own environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety policies while having clean smart surroundings
- Work intelligently and ensure that the Team Lead is aware of problems or issues which negatively affect productivity
- Build excellent relations with team through positive communications
- Ensure knowledge is shared within the team to enable them to work smarter and more efficiently
- Work on ad hoc requests as required, typically during quiet times
United States Residents: The base pay for this position ranges from $60,000 - $80,000. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
