Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a Director of School Finance to provide fiscal and reporting support, monitoring, and assistance in maintaining district’s financial health indicators and directing corrective action plans. This role serves as a resource to school districts to analyze and monitor legislative changes, provide revenue and expenditure forecast support, lead and coordinate fiscal and technical support to school districts, and provide financial information, guidance, and recommendations to the Superintendent, Governing Boards, school districts, and/or other regulatory agencies.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting or a job-related field AND job-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- 5 years of school district finance/accounting/budgeting experience including knowledge of Washington State School District Accounting Manual rules and regulations
- Knowledge of Washington State RCWs related to school finance
- Experience in training models for adult learning
- Proficiency in gathering and interpreting fiscal data
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and/or databases
- Knowledge of GAAP Principles
- Legislative Experience
