The Northwest Digital Solutions Portfolio Leader understands and capitalizes on client needs for technology planning, data management, automation/control systems, electrical, analytics, data science, and emerging applications for digital solutions and builds and leads teams to serve them.

Detailed Description:
For the right candidate, this position offers the opportunity to lead Digital Solutions projects and support business development efforts, including strategy, to expand our Digital Solutions services to our clients in the Northwest. The role requires the ability to integrate and apply BC's service offerings and top talent to help our clients solve their most challenging issues. Primary responsibilities include:
- Be a steward and accountable owner of Digital Solutions services growth in the Northwest with a balanced emphasis between short-term sales and long-term growth. Set business strategy for scaling BC's growth in Digital Solutions in the Northwest.
- Develop and maintain relationships with BC's top Northwest area clients.
- Develop business opportunities and support others in developing business opportunities by actively participating in sales and marketing efforts (proposal preparation, interviewing, scope, fee, client brown bags, etc.)
- Serve as a project manager, client service manager and task manager on Digital Solutions projects.
- Scope and budget projects, identify method of project execution, and coordinate staff resource assignments from all of the partner groups within BC. Successfully manage and execute Digital Solutions projects to be on-time and on-budget using company systems and tools.
- Develop and supervise a dedicated group of Digital Solutions staff dedicated to win and deliver Digital Solutions projects.
- Lead and/or participate in the development of new technologies (e.g., the use of large language models, process optimization using advanced analytics like machine learning, and advanced control system applications to inform real-time process decisions) to expand Digital Solution product and service offerings.
- Represent BC in the marketplace through industry conference presentations and/or targeted technical articles.
Position Requirements:
- B.S. in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other technology/science degrees relevant to the Digital Solutions portfolio of work.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working for government, municipal, or industrial water and/or wastewater industries.
- Experience in the marketing and sales generation of IT, electrical, and/or automation services to municipal or industrial customers with demonstrated capability to present a professional image to clients and the public.
- Experience managing project teams performing these types of services and demonstrate the level of decisiveness and directness needed to effectively lead professional and technical staff toward completion of project goals and objectives.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally (verbal and written) for technical and non-technical audiences. Proven technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and contextually are required.
- Collaborate with a national team of technical experts in a multidiscipline environment to develop competitive technology concepts, designs and implementations for new facilities, expansion, upgrades and retrofits.
- Travel up to 20%.
Additional Considerations:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or registered Professional Engineer or the capability to be registered within 6 months of hiring is not required but a plus.
- Experience or familiarity with databases and analytics tools is a plus.
- Candidate should be a self-starter, strong sense of accountability, be results-oriented and be able to work under tight and pressured deadlines. Able to multi-task, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and work independently with a willingness to learn new concepts and technologies.
Salary:
Location A: $127,000 - $174,000
Location B: $140,000 - $191,000
