The Head of Strategic Capability Building will play a critical role in implementing and delivering global learning content and strategy across The KION Group. The position will report directly to the Sr Director, Global Learning and will work with partners across HR and the wider business to ensure clear connections between the business strategy, people strategy and innovative learning and development interventions.
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in developing and deploying a global learning content strategy, who understands the business requirements and can leverage strong relationships to deploy high quality solutions.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $125,000-$225,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
What You Will Do In This Role:
- Define organizational skills strategy in close collaboration with the People Development team
- Define and lead the global learning content strategy, budget, and OKRs
- Define associated skills and content governance, processes, standards, and guidance
- Develop and implement a group-wide learning needs analysis and sustainable cadence and mechanisms to keep a proactive pulse on evolving business needs
- Co-lead the learning delivery & technology strategy to ensure the appropriate systems are in place to deliver a skills-based learning solution
- Develop and track learning portfolio relevant metrics & KPIs; ensure visibility and ongoing alignment with Regional Learning Hub Leaders and business leaders
- Leverage external resources and vendors to scale learning portfolio delivery at a group-wide level
- Collaborate with key business leaders and the HR community to remain aligned to business needs
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelors Degree required, MBA or Master's in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Learning & Development, or related field is preferred
- 10+ years of experience in developing and delivering globally applicable learning content strategy and solutions
- 5+ years in a global role or scope of responsibilities with the demonstrated ability to partner cross-culturally
- Demonstrated experience in leveraging technology to promote a learning culture throughout the enterprise
- Experience in implementing and managing learning & development technology solutions and platforms, preferably skills management solutions
- Possesses strong project/program management and communication skills. Lean Six Sigma and/or project management experience preferred
- Advanced capability regarding best in class learning philosophies, methods of deployment, and quality
- Previous success in influencing without direct authority to effectively manage the needs of multiple stakeholders and clients preferred
- Previous success in leading large scale, complex enterprise-wide learning development projects leading to successful learning solutions across enterprises preferred
- Knowledge and/or previous experience developing or operating in a skills-based organization preferred
- Experience in connecting learning strategy to people development/performance strategy preferred
