Lead Consultant
About the role
Provide technical governance and assurance of complex solutions that span across multiple technical streams.
What you'll be doing
- Assist with pre-sales engagement; qualification of design and/or opportunities to win customer business
- Attend and present at customer meetings to ensure understanding of customer requirements and to assist with knowledge transfer
- Lead technical teams and take ownership of complex assignments that span multiple technology streams ensuring design solutions meet the customer contractual requirements
- Produce technical, presales and consultative documentation across technology streams
- Quality assure all deliverables produced by team members to ensure consistency and accuracy of data
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Computacenter
- Keep up to date with current and future market developments, technologies, products and strategies
- Manage design and implementation of low risk/medium scale solutions
- Understand and abide by all security and operational policies
- Effective delivery of assignments using Computacenter's methodologies
- Delivery of quality solutions
- Achievement of utilization targets
- Successful handover of technology to internal or customer support function
- Safety and security of facility
- Embrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values
What you have
- Graduate level or relevant technical experience within a large organization or IT Industry
- Relevant qualifications or accreditations in one or more technology area(s)
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to design complex multi-technology solutions
- Ability to design complex technical solutions and provide input into bid, project and technical documents
- Broad knowledge of the business benefits that technical solutions can provide
- Ability to lead and organize a large virtual technical team, with good negotiation skills and people management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present in a group setting
- Prefer a strong working knowledge of computer system applications (e.g.: Windows, Microsoft Office, OSX, Salesforce)
