Your Solution Partner.
We have an excellent opportunity for a Director, Embedded Solutions to join our team. This person will be responsible for System Architecture and technical sales support for embedded computing integrated solutions to include assisting the system sales team to achieve sales targets for products and product lines supported. Work in tandem with Regional Sales Managers and provide them with market updates. Lead in developing and implementing product trainings, in strategic marketing planning and in new product development based on market feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for highly integrated systems architecture applied to purpose-built systems including boards, software, and packaging and backplane architecture.
- Provide technical sales support for embedded computing integrated solutions.
- Finding technical solutions to meet the customer needs using technology we already have in-house or through our partners.
- Work in tandem with Regional Sales Managers in all sales activities including direct customer interaction to coordinate application-specific solutions and to assist with achieving sales targets.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing team for developing and conducting product trainings.
- Develop strategic marketing plans along with sales and marketing group. Develop and give technical presentations at industry conferences. Create and deliver compelling technical content for Webinars and other industry events. Attend and support trade events, 4-6 per year.
- Support the Product line in the R&D roadmap planning.
- Provide continuous feedback to the organization on conditions and changes in the market.
- Use technical, sales, and marketing data to aid in new product development solutions.
- Actively participate in the defense and industry standards committees.
Requirements:
- Technical expertise and knowledge of computing and network products in the embedded computing industry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills including presentation skills.
- Creative solution skills.
- Ability to present ideas in such a way as to influence and persuade others to accept them.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education/Certifications:
- Engineering degree required - those with mechanical and/or electrical focus preferred.
- Minimum 10 years job experience with focus on technical solutioning for sales and marketing.
- Knowledge of backplanes, various payloads, and how they integrate.
