About the Role
Join LexisNexis Risk Solutions as a Technology Intern and immerse yourself in a dynamic industry, gaining hands-on experience through real-world projects. During this 10-week Summer Internship Program, you'll have the chance to network with industry professionals, participate in lunch-and-learn sessions, collaborate with talented peers, and contribute to meaningful volunteer initiatives.
The program runs from May 19, 2025, to July 25, 2025, and is open to junior students graduating in May 2026. This internship is based in Alpharetta, GA, with no relocation assistance provided.
Responsibilities
- Gaining hands-on experience with cloud technologies like Azure and AWS.
- Engaging in diverse roles within Information Security, Software Development, and/or Data Science.
- Applying coding expertise in languages such as Java, Python, Perl, .NET, and React JS to contribute to various projects.
- Participating in automation initiatives and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Leveraging Power BI to gain valuable insights through data analysis and reporting.
- Adapting to evolving departmental needs while acquiring practical, on-the-job experience while developing and enhancing analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Gaining exposure to the complexities of modern technology landscapes and methodologies.
Requirements
- Be a current junior student pursuing studies in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration.
- Possess solid analytical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
- Be capable of planning, executing, and following through on tasks with precision.
- Show initiative, conscientiousness, and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
