MindCare Solutions is a leading provider of round-the-clock telepsychiatry and in-person behavioral health that provides services to hospitals, emergency departments and a variety of other care settings. We partner with healthcare organizations to deliver best-in-class, end-to-end behavioral health solutions that combine evidence-based care pathways, advanced technology, and high-quality providers. We are searching for a BC/BE Psychiatrist licensed in MA to provide Consult-Liaison Psychiatry (Inpatient Medical/Surgical consultation) to our clients in MA.

Compensation: $150 - 200 per hour on average

Position Summary:

Psychiatrist will see approximately 1 patient encounter per hour
12-hour shifts between (7a-7p)
An average of 32, 36, or 40 hours per week options available
Respond immediately to consult requests received during a scheduled shift
Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring
Utilization of the EHR
Must be actively licensed in MA
Psychiatrist will evaluate and treat patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions
Admission and discharge information to follow
Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring including prescribing medications within limits of applicable.
CPT Coding required
40 Consults daily is expected across multiple physicians
MindCare utilizes productivity compensation models - multiple options are available
1099
Credentialing support
1M/3M Malpractice Occurrence based Coverage for all Providers

Qualifications:

Psychiatrist is required to have an active and unrestricted license in the state of MA
Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry
Valid and unrestricted DEA
Required to be well-versed in telemedicine technologies and EHR programs
PMHNP Supervision/Collaboration may also be requested
