Registered Nurse - 6N - Med Surg/Tele/Oncology– Full Time Day

6 North is our 50 bed Med Surg/Oncology/Telemetry unit. Our Nurses specialize in the administration of chemotherapy and biotherapy. We are also the experts in port access and often lend our expertise to other areas to ensure the patients can receive their chemo and biotherapies without disruption while hospitalized. We are passionate about cancer care and prevention and we look forward to making you a part of our team! This is a Full-Time Day Shift (7A-7PM, 13 shifts per month) position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens. Rotating holidays and weekends are required.
Preferred Criteria
- At least two years of acute care RN experience
Required Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license
- BLS certification through American Heart Association; Specialty certification a plus
- ONC chemotherapy biotherapy credentials required within 6 months of hire
