Job Description Background: Wellesley College has a long history ofproviding an excellent liberal arts undergraduate education for women.The College, established in 1870, has a student body of 2,400undergraduates. The Wellesley College endowment had a market value of\$2.9 billion as of the fiscal year ended June 30, 2023. Investment ofthe endowment is managed by the Investment Office, located on campus inWellesley, MA. Position Summary: The Investment Operations Director roleis a full-time position open to individuals with 10 plus years ofrelevant experience, including supervisory experience. Team members mustlive in the area but have the option to work remotely two days a week.The Investment Operations Director is an integral member of theoperations team and interacts regularly with other members of theinvestment team. The position will report to the Chief InvestmentOfficer. Specific portfolio administration and operational dutiesinclude but are not limited to: Cash Activity and Analysis: *Reviewbank instructions for cash movements. *Monitor and reconcile cash flowactivity. *Prepare cash flow projections and analysis of cash need.*Process endowment related transfers to/from the College DataManagement: *Ensure that the portfolio management systems for theinvestment portfolio are regularly maintained. *Maintain liquiditymanagement system. *Finalize accounting and performance reports.*Ensure portfolio activity between systems is accurate. FinancialReporting and Portfolio Analysis: *Prepare portfolio reporting forinvestment committee meetings. *Prepare regular rebalancing analysisand liquidity analysis for the portfolio. *Monitor benchmark results.*Lead the audit process. includes preparing and reviewing auditconfirmations, audit work papers and supporting schedules; preparesummary financial statement schedules. *Work with KPMG on theCollege\'s exposure to excise tax. Manager Diligence, Legal and Other:*Manage operational due diligence reviews and background checks.*Complete subscription, amendment and side letter agreements. *Prepareregular survey responses to outside organizations. *Perform otherduties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
