About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated, take-charge individual with a strong work ethic to join our Urology Commercial Data Solutions team within Commercial Strategy & Excellence. In this position, you will work to build and maintain critical digital enablement platforms that service internal functions like Finance, Marketing and Operations as well as the entire Field Sales Organization. You will be responsible for creating sales enablement tools; opportunity recognition, shaping resource deployment strategies and helping the field meet business challenges through timely, impactful analytics delivered by leveraging the strong knowledge of BSC sales tools and resources. This job requires cross-functional collaboration across the enterprise.
Boston Scientific's Urology division leads in developing innovative treatments for urological conditions such as kidney stones, BPH, and urinary incontinence. With a portfolio including lithotripters, laser therapies, and minimally invasive solutions, the division focuses on improving patient outcomes and recovery. Through ongoing collaboration with healthcare professionals, Boston Scientific is committed to advancing urological care and enhancing the quality of life for patients globally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Technology and Reporting Innovation: Harness existing reporting tools and technologies to craft intuitive analytical reports and insights for field personnel and leadership. Develop and implement innovative reporting tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency across the Urology division.
- Strategic Project Leadership: Engage in strategic projects aimed at advancing the objectives of the Urology division.
- Project Management and Communication: Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, maintaining clear and concise correspondence.
- Strategic Business Reviews: Generate tailored business reviews that reflect regional market conditions, customer challenges, and strategic opportunities. Offer insights to support informed decision-making and feel comfortable presenting findings to various stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring and Opportunity Identification: Monitor industry trends, performance metrics, and external data sources to pinpoint growth opportunities. Utilize strategic analysis to drive decision-making and identify potential areas for expansion or improvement.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient support for our team by swiftly addressing requests. Demonstrate a high level of responsiveness and dedication to team-wide success.
- Analytical Support: Offer specialized ad-hoc analytical assistance, including data interpretation, to meet varying project needs. Leverage critical thinking skills to provide insightful analyses.
- Salesforce Innovation Leadership: Work within the product owner team supporting the development of new Salesforce functionalities and the rollout of new features. Ensure smooth adoption and optimal utilization.

What we are looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 2 years working experience with data and enablement tools
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with SQL, python, or VBA programming
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in analytical visualization tools like Tableau
- Expert level experience with back-office application skills, including Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint & Word
- Excellent interpersonal skills and above average writing and verbal communication skills to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Desire to work in a high-paced collaborative, teamwork-oriented environment.
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within the medical device industry supporting a field sales organization
- Proven expert level analytical and problem-solving experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced data manipulation and analysis.
- Organization skills and the ability to handle work of a highly confidential nature.
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities against strict deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and customer service.
