You are a listener, an educator and a gifted cultivator of new and exciting opportunities grounded in science.
In this role, you will confer with internal stakeholders and build new collaborative relationships with medical and scientific leaders, policymakers, and advocates. You'll contribute cutting-edge clinical and scientific data to help move healthcare forward and positively impact patients.
You will:
*Identify and forge professional peer-to-peer relationships with clinically focused key opinion leaders (KOLs), other Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Pharmacy &Therapeutics among other stakeholders
*Educate pediatricians, pediatric endocrinologists and ancillary staff primarily located in tertiary health systems, on disease state, current unmet medical needs in CHI and Dasiglucagon data
*Leverage expertise to enhance and broaden knowledge among field medical team colleagues, including Clinical Nurse Educators (CNEs)
*Continue to identify and engage KOLs and key stakeholders beyond Centers of Excellence, raising awareness and advocacy, and expand targets based on information and exchange demands
Essential Requirements:
*Advanced degree in the life sciences or medical field (MD, PharmD, NP, PA or Dietetics or a certified diabetes educator / CDE) or relevant medical experience
*Strong understanding of relevant policies guiding the pharmaceutical industry
*Ability to travel local, regional and national is required. Possess a valid driver's license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified
Desired Requirements:
*Previous experience in field-based medical role within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company
*Experience in rare disease is highly preferred
*Experience in continuous delivering device (subcutaneous infusion) is a plus
