Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the S&OP / IBP process to ensure alignment between sales forecasts, inventory management, and production plans.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to create accurate demand forecasts and ensure supply chain readiness.
- Monitor and analyze sales trends, market conditions, and internal data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Oversee inventory management strategies to balance customer demand with cost-effective production and distribution.
- Lead the development of metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the S&OP process and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
- Provide leadership and development to the S&OP team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence while managing a team of four.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in supply chain network efficiency and optimization by leading cross-functional teams and projects toward transformation and modernization of Natures Path network systems and processes.
- Stay informed on supply chain best practices, emerging technologies, top-rated vendors, and process enhancements, identifying implementation opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in sales and operational planning, supply chain management, or related roles within the CPG industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading S&OP / IBP processes and driving cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights.
- Proficiency in demand planning / mass balancing software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance management.
Location: This can be a remote role, with preference for candidates in Chicago, Milwaukee, Seattle, or Richmond BC.
