Leidos has an immediate opening for International Tax Manager to join our Corporate Tax team in Reston - VA. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the tax planning and audit team with various tax matters related to Leidos' global operations. You will work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and outside consultants to support Leidos' current operations and future expansion both in the US and in foreign jurisdictions. You will have the opportunity to provide advice to business partners and other functional stakeholders, manage the Company's global transfer pricing process, and work on resolving foreign tax controversy matters. You will be expected to partner effectively with International Business Development, Procurement, Program Finance, Accounting, and applicable business departments on various projects as needed.
The position offers occasional telework opportunity but you are expected to live within commuting distance to Reston - VA.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the Company's global transfer pricing process for certain jurisdictions:
- Master file, local file, and various other transfer pricing reporting requirements
- Manage outside advisors
- Collaborate with the intercompany accounting team to review the Company's related party cross-border transactions
- Manage foreign corporate income tax and transfer pricing related tax audits for certain jurisdictions
- Advise Leidos business units with respect to related party cross-border transactions and transfer pricing implications for purposes of pricing contracts / new opportunities
- Engage with Leidos operational, legal, and accounting teams to identify foreign tax requirements to assist with setting up new entities/branches and implement tax processes on a going forward basis
- Assist with research of various foreign tax technical issues and document positions
- Monitor changes in US and foreign tax legislation
- Assist with M&A activities such as calculation of gain/loss, basis, US tax disclosures
- Assist with other ad-hoc tax projects / deliverables
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
- 8+ years of corporate tax experience in either a public accounting firm or multinational company
- 3+ years of recent experience in international tax
- Knowledge of transfer pricing concepts and US reporting requirements related to a corporation's foreign activities including but not limited to, foreign source income, foreign derived intangible income, base erosion anti-abuse tax, and accounting for related party cross-border transactions
- Experience with US tax concepts and corporate tax compliance
- Knowledge of general accounting concepts, including debits, credits, journal entries, and ability to review and understand financial data
- Experience with international tax issues
- Ability to perform both US and foreign tax technical research and document conclusions
- Excellent communication, financial, and economic analysis skills
- The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable influencing decision making
- Must have the flexibility that a global company requires (e.g., be available for calls with people in other time zones, etc.)

Pay Range: Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00
