About the Job
The Senior Product Manager, Flu Franchise Marketing – US Influenza Vaccines is a marketing position with overall responsibility for execution and performance of the entire Sanofi Influenza Vaccine flu portfolio, which includes the marketed products Flublok, Fluzone High Dose, and Fluzone. This individual will work closely with key teams across the organization including account management, portfolio sales, health systems solutions, market access, business operations, finance, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, compliance, global marketing, training, portfolio marketing, marketing excellence and supply chain. This role reports to the Senior Director, Medical Customer Engagement Marketing within the Sanofi Vaccines Business Unit.
Main Responsibilities:
- Unbranded and Promotional Resource Development and Management: Demonstrate the ability to navigate and optimize promotional and non-promotional resources through Veeva Promomats. Ensure all promotional materials adhere to regulatory guidelines and compliance standards.
- Promotional Material Review Management: Understand and navigate medical, legal, and regulatory processes to ensure resource accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness.
- Market Insight Development and Analytical Skills: Utilize strong analytical skills to assess market trends, competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and sales data. Mine insights from the competitive environment, customer stakeholders, and field-facing teams to derive insights and develop appropriate responses and/or tactics.
- Cross-functional and Agency Partner Management: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared objectives. Provide clear prioritization and creative direction with Agencies of Record to develop appropriate marketing resources.
- Customer Facing Team Engagement: Lead development of sales meeting strategy in partnership with Portfolio Sales, Account Management, and Training. Align with customer-facing teams to develop appropriate communications strategy for short and long term needs. Develop appropriate reactive and proactive communications for the field based on needs.
- Promotional Budget Management: Manage marketing budget aligned to resource development and agency management.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences or pharmacy.
- Minimum of three (3) years of pharmaceutical/biopharma/vaccine marketing experience or healthcare consulting.
- Minimum of two (2) years in a pharmaceutical/biopharma or vaccine customer-facing role.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Leadership skills and experience influencing without direct authority to create a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated project management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Business acumen.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Masters of Pharmaceutical/Biotech Marketing.
- Commercial Marketing and Sales/Sales management experience.
- Ability to demonstrate the Sanofi Play to Win behaviors: Stretch, Take Action, Act in the Interest of Patients and Customers, Sanofi First.
- Expertise with Veeva PromoMats.
