We are seeking energetic team leaders for our Y-Kids Program. Y-Kids is a structured before and after school program that offers a great start and finish to every school day. Team Leaders support staff as they facilitate education and recreation opportunities, fun physical activities, healthy snacks, and positive reinforcement. With a strong focus on STEM, we encourage innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity in all our kids.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Site Director is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the program site and will plan, lead, and evaluate group experiences. This position operates at a specific school age site.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Plan and manage the daily operations of the licensed school age site, including administrative tasks, monthly budgets, and financial reports.
- Ensure Licensing standards/regulations are met at all times.
- Plan and implement high-quality programming that achieves educational, administrative, and service delivery goals.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, motivate, schedule, and direct staff and volunteers.
- Coach and train staff, monitor and evaluate staff performance.
- Maintain positive relationships with administration, families, and school staff.
- Provide support for administrative staff to collect/report data as required.
- Monitor and report on achievement of project outcome goals and objectives.
- Promote and maintain enrollment at capacity.
- Maintain required program files, records, and reports.
- Provide appropriate and consistent discipline methods that reinforce positive behaviors.
- Report and document notable behavior and situations according to policies and procedures.
- Positively explain and interpret program standards and policies.
- Lead with a positive example in conduct and communication.
- Address student and parent concerns promptly.
- Attend and actively participate in regular program activities and staff meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- AA Degree, BA/BS degree preferred.
- Meets educational and experience qualifications established by CA state law and Community Care Licensing.
- 3 years related experience in school-based learning.
- A high degree of cultural awareness and competency.
- Experience in collaborative meeting facilitation and team building.
- Strong interpersonal and supervision skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate and mediate.
- Pre-employment health screening and TB clearance.
- Current certificates for Pediatric First Aid and CPR.
- LiveScan fingerprint and criminal record clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other necessary computer programs.
